PROJECT RESTORATIONFIELD GUIDE

REFERENCE

Two control schemes, one client.

The game runs on desktop and phones from the same build, and the store lists a separate scheme for each. Both are quoted in full.

OFFICIAL ONLY

Both lists are copied from the store page and marked as the developer's wording. We pressed the desktop controls on the title screen; none of it has been exercised in free play yet.

What a control scheme cannot tell you

Three layouts are published — keyboard and mouse, touch, and a gamepad set — and all three are short enough to be quoted in full. What none of them says is timing: how long a hold must be before an action registers, whether placing and removing share a key, or how much drag a touch build needs before the camera moves. Those are the things that decide whether a browser farming game feels usable on a phone, and they only appear when someone plays.

Desktop

InputAction, as published
Left-clickSelect objects, harvest crops, start production, interact with characters, move between points of interest
Hold left-click on an objectEnter edit mode to reposition buildings, decor and other objects within the location
Drag left-clickPan the camera across the map, or scroll through interface lists

What a published scheme hides

Three layouts — keyboard and mouse, touch, and gamepad — is a sign the game expects to be played in a browser tab on several devices. What the lists leave out is everything a player learns in the first ten minutes: whether holding a button repeats an action, whether removing a block and placing one are separate inputs, how the camera turns on touch without a second stick, and which keys a browser will steal before the game sees them. Each of those is a session note waiting to be written, and each one is the difference between a game that feels native and one that fights the window it runs in. The store lists all three schemes; it demonstrates none of them. The three lists were read on 31 October 2026 and are quoted as published, so a rebound key in a later patch will date this page before anything else here.

Mobile

InputAction, as published
Single tapPrimary actions: collect, build, open menus, start dialogue
Hold on an objectEdit mode for free placement and movement
SwipePan the camera or scroll lists

The store tags the game Mobile and lists its orientation as both, which is why the mobile scheme is printed rather than assumed.
