PROJECT RESTORATIONFIELD GUIDE

FAQ

Eleven questions, answered from what we can cite.

No new claims here. Every answer restates something already on this site and links to the page that carries the evidence.

When does the game actually start?

The changelog says 2014; the store page says 2025. A browser port of an older game makes both true, and any guide that calls this a brand-new release is quoting a shop page rather than reading the history.

Which robot should I pick?

The wiki files 101 tasks under Spot, 6 under Fly and 3 under Timmy. If those categories mirror quest lines, Spot is where the content is, but nobody has confirmed the split in the client yet.

Does it have multiplayer?

The store tags it as multiplayer and the loading screens talk about visiting friends and exchanging gifts. We have not tested a single invitation, so the page lists what is claimed and stops there.

Is Project Restoration free to play?

Yes on the store: it runs in the browser with no download. The store also flags in-app purchases, so free means free to start, not free of offers.

How big is the game really?

The store says 56 locations and 1,000+ quests. The wiki’s own categories add up to 57 areas and 775 filed tasks. We publish both and say which is which.

Who are the three robots?

Spot, Fly and Timmy. They are not interchangeable: the wiki files 101 tasks under Spot, 6 under Fly and 3 under Timmy.

Can I play it on a phone?

The store tags it Mobile and lists a separate tap-and-swipe scheme, so yes — but we have not run it on one.

Detail: /controls/

Is there multiplayer?

The store describes visiting neighbours, trading gifts and shared events, and a loading tip mentions friends collecting resources at your base while you are away.

Detail: /world/

How old is this game?

Older than its shop page suggests. The store lists a 2025 release; the community changelog’s earliest dated update is July 2014, which fits a browser port of an earlier title.

Why is every wiki article so short?

Because the wiki answers existence, not numbers. Our sample of seven articles ran 16–34 words each — enough to confirm a thing exists, not enough to plan around.

Does this site have measured numbers?

Not yet. The client would not finish loading on our connection, so every page currently carries OFFICIAL ONLY, COMMUNITY INDEX or NEEDS CHECK, and the rules say we do not invent the missing ones.
